Volunteering Opportunities

Making A Difference by volunteering with ALS.

Critical to the success of our services, has been the excellent work & critical role played by volunteers.
Since being formed in 2008, we’ve had over 250 young people (& 20 adults) help manage, plan & run services.
Each and every volunteer has a unique contribution to make, which makes us stronger and better as a major provider of services for children & young people in South Somerset.

Could you do this too?

Volunteers not only give an incredible amount, but also get a lot back:

  • Confidence
  • Fun
  • Satisfaction
  • Skills
  • Meeting new people
  • Employability – qualifications and experience
  • Pride in helping the community
