ALS Services

We're delighted to continue to grow & regrow our services with our 'Youth Zone' &/or 'Fun Time' sessions (during term-time), in; Chard, Crekwerne & Tatworth. We plan to announce more new & exciting developments & services for 2023, soon!

Centre-based services take place in; Chard at The Young People's Centre (by The Rugby Club) and upstairs at The George Reynolds Centre + outdoors at Henhayes, in Crewkerne.  In Tatworth we're operating at The Memorial Hall where we'll have Youth Zone sessions until Easter.

We post our plans for sessions, on Facebook too (which can sometimes change at short notice e.g. if weather impacts), so it's a great way to stay up to date & find out more about what we're doing.

For the Fun Time age groups we aim to email parents on the day before / day of a session, with planned activities, relevant info etc, so please feel free to email us & ask to be added to our email list for Fun Time, in Crewkerne & Chard.

We continue to train our teams & develop how we work, to make services as safe, enjoyable and valuable as possible.

Active Learning & Skills is a not-for-profit organisation incorporated in 2008, currently delivering services for teenagers and children in South Somerset.

During term time, we usually run Fun Time sessions for children aged 6-11 and Youth Zone for young people aged 11-19. 

In school holidays, we sometimes run activities such as 'Fun-Time Day-Time' events & activities for the Youth Zone age group.
